Ok .. I usually don’t get involved with politics, but this is an extremely important election year. Please please please, if you are registered to vote this Tuesday, make your vote count!
Obama’s plan will help the middle class and start leading the US’s economy back to a fruitful state. For too long it’s been in the hands of big ticket corporations, and now we’ve seen the result. If the middle class has no money, then who’s going to purchase all the goods that are distributed throughout the country? Who buys the new flat screen TVs, the computers, the video games, etc? The middle class is the economic fuel that supports the engine … Obama’s plan will help the middle class and put the giants in check.
I’m back from my trip through Utah and Arizona! It was truly amazing .. I captured tons of photos and made lot’s of recordings on the road.
What’s even more amazing is to realize how much noise is in a city area … I visited Canyonlands National Park, among many others, and it was so quiet no words can truly describe it. It’s a great reminder that nature itself naturally puts you into a meditative state. Very inspiring!
I wanted to let everybody know that I’ve released a new video and meditation. The pics in the video are from my trip, so you can get a taste of what Utah and Arizona national parks are like.
I’m blogging on the road right now … somewhere in the middle of Nevada. We’re heading to Great Basin National Park for our first stop in capturing the light of the land. We have an opportunity to photograph the Lehman Caves, and possibly try recording some channeled vocals there also so we’ll see how much light we capture in a cave.
As a team, we decided to travel through Utah, the four corners and Northern Arizona to photograph and audio record in places like Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde, and some of the slot canyons by Page, Arizona.
At times, our social atmosphere can make it really difficult to experience the simple joy of everyday living. Traffic, bills, deadlines, you name it. They all can elude us from our core ability of experiencing joy!
It’s no wonder we are a stressed out, overworked nation! The joy is absent in our lives!
Here is a quick list of 8 ways to experience joy in your life, today.
Give a gift. It can be anybody. A stranger, friend, relative, co-worker, it does not matter who it is. The gift doesn’t have to be physical, either. It can be a complement, or a silent prayer. This giving calls upon the natural laws of energy flow. Giving and receiving are just angles of the same energy. When you give, you will always receive.
Walk in nature. When was the last time you took a hike? Nature naturally gives us joy. It’s always available and always ready to lift our spirits.
Lend your ears. Maybe a friend or family member could use a sounding board. Become that sounding board and experience the joy of energy transfer. Everyday conversation naturally moves energy. Energy movement plants seeds of joy.
Hit the gym. It’s a scientific fact! Exercise boosts our endorphins and raises our mood! Science has really just now begun to understand how important exercise relates to our emotions and cognitive abilities. We’re designed by nature to be active beings.
Change it up. Sometimes our standard routine can get us down (and we don’t even realize it!) Recognize stagnant energy and learn to change things up! Rearrange your schedule. Eat at a new place. Take a new approach to your day. Improvise!
Rearrange your surroundings. On the topic of change, sometimes our physical surroundings (office, kitchen, living room, etc) can be stalling us out. Move that furniture! Change things around! Energy lives in everything, and that definitely means furniture, desks, tables, decorations, etc. Just because they are inanimate objects, doesn’t mean they don’t vibrate and resonate constantly, too.
Be thankful and grateful. No doubt about it, when we are thankful, we experience joy. You may be thinking that you have no room in your life to be thankful or grateful because of your current situation. Then start with the ground you are walking on. Then move onto the clothes on your back. As you are thankful and grateful about more and more things, you experience more and more joy! Joy will always lead to more joy. Become thankful and grateful for everything in your life. Positive and negative.
Meditate daily. An excellent way to experience the source of joy is to meditate. A daily meditation practice can have numerous positive effects on your life, including stress reduction, longer life span, calm and clear perspective, and a pure sense of joy!

Here’s a short list of the benefits that come from a daily meditation practice….
1. Your life becomes significantly more clearer and calm
The hustle and bustle of everyday life is choking our minds of the peace we deserve! Our technology advancements shouldn’t suffocate our minds, it should allow us to achieve more peace. Meditation helps put those events in perspective for our daily tasks.
2. Your blood pressure is lowered
Science has proven it, meditation lowers the blood pressure, which in return is related to your stress levels and stress management. Much better than taking pills to lower your blood pressure!
3. People around you enjoy your company
Regular meditation leads to higher/positive energy that you are consistently tapping into. Read the rest of this entry »
Fiona from ONDD.org sent me a great article that includes over 50 tips for stress relief and general relaxation and anger management. #’s 30-34 are specific to meditation techniques.
Thanks for all your letters and comments. There seems to be a recurring theme of stress and anxiety in many of them, asking for help with illness, or thanking us for helping heal troubled minds and bodies.
We are certainly in stressful times around the world today, from financial distress, food shortages, extreme weather and geological events, not to mention wars and troubling political news. All of these contribute to ill health, however, it is not my intention to focus on these things but to raise our vibrations toward healthier living.
Two new meditations this month are designed to assist you as individuals and as a whole to elevate mood and health.
Immunity Boost directs energy toward the upper body defense mechanisms and vibrations found in the heart, throat and third eye chakras where individual healing is enhanced. Find out more at: Immunity Boost
Essense of Gaia directs it’s vibration to the earth cycles, giving a health and life enhancing cleansing sound to our surroundings and on out into the globe to assist us all. Find out more at: Essence of Gaia
In my opinion, we are truly healthy and at peace when we choose positive energy both for ourselves and for all beings. We are one, after all.
