The metal element is associated with the autumn season and is known for its rigid and persistent nature. Our intuition is directly related to the metal element. Somebody who knows exactly what they want and will not accept any other circumstances is driven by the metal element.

Metal Element Emotions

Through the metal element we experience courage on the positive side and sadness on the negative side. Understanding these emotions and there relation to the metal element helps us identify our current state of mind and awareness. A lack of courage to complete things is a sign of our metal element being weak and imbalanced.

Metal Element Organs

In the physical body, the metal element is associated with the lungs and the large intestine. This is very important to understand because many people have issues with digestion and the lungs from poor diets and the smog in the air we breath. Taking things from a spiritual perspective helps us correct issues at the core of the cause.
